Compassionate Leadership

It's not easy being a compassionate leader in a combative world, especially when driving change can feel lonely and uncertain. Leading with compassion requires strength and courage, which we cannot do alone. Instead, we learn and grow together in community.

The Compassionate Leadership Certification Training (CLCT) aims to enhance compassionate leadership skills, addressing the challenges that exist today. A study of the course curriculum found that participants showed significant increases in self-compassion, compassion for others, compassion at work, and resilience.

Having known Patrick when he was a rising star of the charity world, it is sobering to now read how he felt during that time. It makes me wonder how many other people I know who appear to be on top of their game are really silently suffering. I hope this book will help others in the same situation step forward to ask for help in time and help those around them to find right way to help. It is honest, authentic, and very practical.

I would recommend Brighter Days to anyone looking for meaningful and compassionate training. We didn’t feel “talked at” but genuinely engaged with. The training was delivered with the right mix of specialist knowledge, humour and compassion
